Hi, thanks for coming to visit our site. We are Linda & Bob Wishneski  and live in a semi-rural area within the city of Trail, British Columbia, Canada, which is on the banks of the Columbia River and only a couple miles north of the Canada / U.S. border in the southeast region of the province known as the West Kootenays.

We operate our kennel under the name of ROSEFIELD (PERM.) REG’D LABRADOR RETRIEVERS and breed the ever-popular LABRADOR RETRIEVER. We have been breeding and providing puppies to qualifying homes since 1992. We run our kennel mainly as a hobby, for the love of the breed, but we are serious about what we do. Our goal as breeders is to keep the original qualities that the breed is known for while at the same time making improvements for the overall betterment of the breed. On average we only produce one litter of puppies every 1 to 1-1/2 years and they are bred for quality, not quantity, following careful research and planning of pedigrees. We try to ensure our puppies go to the best homes possible and for that reason potential puppy buyers must complete a questionnaire to determine if you qualify and which puppy we feel would be the right one for your home and lifestyle. We sell our puppies with health guarantees and on a nonbreeding contract. Under predetermined conditions some exceptions may apply to the nonbreeding contract.

We are not and do not affiliate ourselves with known puppy mills. All our puppies are Canadian Kennel Club registered as purebred.

We are proud of our endeavours with the breed and consider ourselves to be a professionally run kennel. The Canadian Kennel Club, of which we are Life Members (30 yrs), has granted us permanent registration of our kennel name due to our accomplishments.

We are also Life Members (25 yrs) of the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada which is the parent club to the breed in Canada.
